Troubleshooting:

So, you just bought a computer. Good for you. Now it doesn't seem to work.

Where to start?
What did you do to it?
Are you having an "issue" with your computer?

The Problem is probably/usually one of three things:

You! - the 'end-user', did something 'wrong', hit the wrong key, or mouse clicked the wrong item, something.

The Computer - the 'hardware', ran out of paper, somehow has the wrong settings (parameters), is "thinking" about it."

The Program - the 'software', is busy, is waiting for a command from you (mouse click, key press), is "thinking" about it."

But what to do?
There USED to be really only a few things to do.

Now Windows has made it much easier to go back to some state of working!

Go to Start, then Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and finally choose System Restore.

Make sure there is a dot in the little circle next to it, like this: Restore my computer to an earlier time

Choose Next and follow directions! Good luck.
